I was able to sell the bike to the only person who came and looked at it for $9,800. Thanks for everyone's interest.
Description
This is the legendary Honda ST1100. The ST1100 is a perfect blending of sport and touring. It has sparkling performance from its V4, liquid cooled, DOHC, engine. (0-60 in 4.4 seconds) The suspension soaks up bumps like they aren't even there and the handling is smooth and easy. All that and ergonomics designed for mile after mile of long distance travel! Condition
This ST1100 is 6 months old and has only 2400 miles. It is mint, showroom condition except for one small scratch on the front fender. I carefully broke it in by avoiding high RPM and by riding at varied speeds and loads for the first 1000 miles. I changed the oil and filter at 600 miles as required by the service manual. Tire pressure has been kept correct the entire time.
Options and accessories
Heli adjustable handlebars, Throtlemeister throttle lock, Travelcade Saddleman gel seat, and Clearview +2 windshield. The bike comes with a Honda factory shop manual and all the stock parts.
Value
I got a great discounted deal and spent $13,500 out the door, including accessories at the Honda dealer. My asking price of $10,500 + tax and license total about $11,500. You save $2000 off of the price of a new one equipped with these accessories.
Why I'm selling it
I have suffered a work injury that prevents me from riding.
